The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on August 25, 2026, issued a notification regarding the fixation of the Date of Establishment and the Date till which the standard without the amendment as mentioned in column 3 shall remain in force, such as Static Direct Connected Watthour Smart Meter.
The following has been stated: -

The Date of Establishment is August 17, 2026, and the Date till which the standard without the amendment as mentioned in column 3 shall remain in force is February 16, 2027.
